Mr. Floyd David Putnam age 64, passed away Sunday December 8, 2019 at UMMC in Jackson, MS. A visitation will be held at Covenant Baptist Church in Forest, MS on Thursday December 12, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 11:50 AM with funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at Covenant Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no graveside service. Brother Bobby Warren and Brother Bob Smith will officiate. Mr. Putnam was a lifelong resident of Scott County, MS. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. He loved horses and liked to fish and hunt. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a father figure to many and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Vivian Haralson; parents, James Robert Putman and Iva Mae Haralson; brother, Jimmy Putnam; sister, Carol Weaver; niece, Robbie Stroud and niece, Paige Weaver. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Putnam; step children, Joseph Doss, Johnathan Doss, Justin Doss, Amber Weaver, Tyler Adcox; grandchildren, Alex Weaver, Destiny Weaver, Saleigh Adcox, Andrew Doss;niece, Angela Weaver; nephew, Shane Weaver and a host of extended family and friends.
