Mr. Jack Armstrong, Jr.age 89, passed away Thursday January 16th 2020 at MS Care Center in Morton, MS. A visitation will be held Friday January 17th 2020 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday January 18th 2020 from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 18th 2020 at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend John Miles and Reverend Tal Vardaman will officiate. Jack was a lifelong resident of Scott County. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Nicknamed “Jackie Boy” by his loved ones, he loved to tell stories and he never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors, always took pride in his work and loved his family dearly. He is preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn Armstrong; brother Jim Wiley Armstrong, Sr. and his parents, Jack R.O. Armstrong and Bertha Moore. He is survived by his wife, Janell Armstrong; two children, Jack Armstrong III (Vonda) of Ellisville, MS., Russell Armstrong (Julie) of Pisgah, MS; sister, Mickey Zane Miles of Morton, MS, two grandchildren, Abbey Noel Armstrong and Russell Jay Armstrong. Pallbearers will be, Jim Armstrong, Jr., Shannon Armstrong, Stites Easterling, Jr., Mike Crapps, Clarence Crapps, and Russell Jay Armstrong. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny Craig, Stites Easterling, Sr. Tommy Miles, Samuel Davis, John Wesley Patrick, Roger Dale McKay, and Buford Crapps. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
