Mr. Robert Dale Davis, age 74, passed away on Saturday May 27, 2017 in Magee, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM and again on Wednesday May 31, 2017 from 9:00AM until 9:50AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 10:00AM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS with burial following in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. Officiating will be Dr. Billy McKay and Rev. Guy Hughes. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Davis was a lifelong resident of Pelahatchie, MS and was a member of the Pelahatchie Baptist Church where he was active in the Men’s Sunday School Class. He drove for J.B. Hunt for over thirty years. He loved gardening and traveling all over the United States. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Eunice Davis. He is survived by his wife, Mary D. Davis of Pelahatchie, MS; his children, Robin Sistrunk (Mike) of Pelahatchie, MS, Regina Davis of Pelahatchie, MS, and Robert Dale Davis, Jr. of Pelahatchie, MS; two brothers, John Ray Davis of Pelahatchie, MS and Joe Davis of Pelahatchie, MS; three grandchildren, Clancey Sistrunk Bridges (Preston), Morgan Davis, and Hayden Sistrunk. Pallbearers will be Dave Boyce, Curt Davis, John Curtis Davis, Kenny Martin, Neal Mashburn, Kenny Miller, and John Shoultz.
