Mr. Ted D. Watkins, age 76, passed away on Friday June 23, 2017 at the Stone County Hospital in Wiggins, MS. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 25, 2017 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 26, 2017 at 12:00PM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS with Bro. Jeremy Williams and Bro. Bill Boykin officiating. Burial will follow in the Contrell Cemetery. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Watkins had lived in Picayune, MS for the past ten years where he moved from Lena, MS. He was a member of Lena Baptist Church, the Masons, and the Eastern Star. He enjoyed cooking out, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Eazelle Watkins; and one brother, Doyle Watkins. He is survived by his special friend, Sue Wyatt of Picayune, MS; four sons, Dewey Watkins of Biloxi, MS, Richard Watkins of Brandon, MS, Christopher Watkins of Brandon, MS, and Scottie Watkins of Gautier, MS; one sister, Onita Mata of Pearl, MS; ten grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
