Mr. William “Bill” Vaughn, age 51, passed away on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017 from 5:30PM until 7:00PM and again on Friday July 21, 2017 from 9:00AM until 9:50AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 21, 2017 at 10:00AM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS with Rev. Marcus Canoy and Rev. Doyle Boyles officiating. Burial will follow in the Homewood Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Born on January 20, 1966, Bill was a lifelong resident of Homewood, MS where he was a member of the Homewood Baptist Church. He was a 1984 graduate of Forest High School where he played in the band. He then went on to pursue a degree at East Central Community College where he was on the paper staff. He received his medical degree at Hinds Community College and went to work as a Med Tech at Neshoba General Hospital in Philadelphia, MS for over twenty years. He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Brenda Vaughn of Homewood, MS; one sister, Tammy Roland (Phillip) of Carthage, MS; one niece, Betsy Roland; one nephew, Jed Roland; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Steve Windham, Gene Boone, Justin Boone, Dave Crum, James Cook, and Ricky Foreman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Baylot, Gary Sullivan, Jay Taylor, and Jimmy Tingle.
