David Rodgers

On January 13, 2018, Jesus called his child David Huffman Rodgers home for everlasting peace. He was the greatest husband and friend. He was a loving and caring father and grandfather. We will all love and miss you, precious, and, will see you again in Glory. He is preceded in death by his mother Lavelle Stone Ferrell; father, Roy Stone; and brother, Mike Rodgers. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Judy Rodgers; daughter Alivia Maxon (James); son, Michael Rodgers; grandson, Jameson Maxon; sisters, Lynn Beasley and Barbara Bates (Mike); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved so much. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 pm on Monday, January 22, 2018, at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 pm. The family would like to extend special gratitude to the nurses in Surgical ICU at Ocean Springs Hospital for treating David with so much care and love. You each have a place in our hearts forever.
