Alvin William Hooge, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday, July 06,<br>2020 at the age of 91.<br><br>Alvin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, March 5, 1929. He was a resident of<br>Picayune, Mississippi for the past twenty-six years and a veteran of the US Army.<br><br>He is survived by his son, Christian W. Hooge (Sharon) of Carriere, Mississippi;<br>one brother, Godfred Hooge of Covington, Louisiana; one sister, Esther Pffeffer of<br>Harahan, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Ross C. Hooge (Emily) of Long Beach,<br>Mississippi, and Kristen H. Robinson (Bejay) of Brookhaven, Mississippi.<br><br>He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ida Hooge; his wife, Yvonne<br>Lovett Hooge; one brother, Carl Hooge; five sisters, Kathleen James, Thelma<br>Adams, Helen Manning, Marie Gibson, and Adele Gumpert.<br><br>A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.<br>

Alvin William Hooge, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday, July 06,
2020 at the age of 91.

Alvin was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, March 5, 1929. He was a resident of
Picayune, Mississippi for the past twenty-six years and a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his son, Christian W. Hooge (Sharon) of Carriere, Mississippi;
one brother, Godfred Hooge of Covington, Louisiana; one sister, Esther Pffeffer of
Harahan, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Ross C. Hooge (Emily) of Long Beach,
Mississippi, and Kristen H. Robinson (Bejay) of Brookhaven, Mississippi.
