Bonnie Earon Dillard

Bonnie Dillard, age 92, formerly of Picayune, went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 6, 2016, in Lone Star, Texas.<br><br>Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 10:00 a.m-12:00 noon at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 noon in the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Rice, officiating. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery.<br><br>Ms. Bonnie was a lifetime resident of Picayune, she was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, for seventy years. Ms. Bonnie, taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, was the church clerk, a member of WMA, and a Vacation Bible School Director. She was the Head Nurse for Stennis for 35 years and was presented the Silver Snoopy Award. Ms. Bonnie, was a member of the Mississippi Nursing Association, American Nurses Association and a former member of the Eastern Star. <br> <br>Survivors include, four nieces, Kay Reiter, of Lone Star, Texas, Janean Pierce of California, and Earlyn Canady, of Carriere, Mississippi, Patricia Carnes, of Picayune; two nephews, Kenny Frierson of Picayune and Ricky Frierson of Picayune.<br><br>She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert R. Dillard and Rosa Jenkins Dillard. Her sisters: Lola Mae Kemp, Dorothy “Dot” Frierson, Myrtle “Myrt” Frierson, Ola Rae Moree and several nieces and nephews.<br><br>
