Charles Carpenter

Charles Phillip Carpenter, Sr., age 50, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday, May 25, 2015. Visitation will be held Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at New Palestine Baptist Church. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery. Mr. Carpenter was a lifetime resident of Picayune, worked in the construction industry, and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his father, Charles Truman Carpenter of Picayune; son, Charles Phillip Carpenter, II of Picayune; sisters, Regina Zinzer of Virginia, Danielle Lyle of Picayune, and Melissa Jarrell of Picayune. He is proceeded in death by his mother Glenda Jean Carpenter. “Forget your lust for the rich man’s gold, all that you need is in your soul.”
