Clara Baker

Clara B. Baker, age 77, of Picayune passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 27th from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Clara was a lifetime resident of the area and a homemaker. Her greatest pleasure in life was being surrounded by her family. She is survived by two sons, James (Jana) Baker of Tomball, TX and Johnny Ray (Angela) Baker of Houston, TX ;one brother, Clayford (Doyce) Smith of Picayune; two sisters, Lola Mae Westbrook of Picayune and Patricia (Gary) Cowan of Perkinston, MS ;five grandchildren, James Anthony Baker,Keely Anna Baker, George Corey Thomas Baker ,Ryan Matthew Baker and Terri Lynn Baker ;one great-grandchildren, James Aiden Baker. She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Baker ;two brothers, Charles H. Smith and Jerry W. Smith. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
