Claudia Beth Davis, age 48, of Carriere passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at LSU Medical Center-Bogalusa, Bogalusa, LA. Visitation will be on Friday, November 26th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home, followed by the Memorial Services at 4:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Eddie Exposito officiating. Claudia was born in Asheville, North Carolina and moved to Carriere from Chalmette, Louisiana nine years ago. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Larry Davis of Carriere; one son, Laurence Davis, Jr.;two daughters, Jamie White of Picayune and Barbara Cantwell of Algiers, Louisiana; three step-daughters, Mandy Broussard of Kaplan, Louisiana, Misty Ross of Lafayette, Louisiana and Mallory Davis of Chalmette, Louisiana ;two sisters, Barbara Hampton of Indiana and Laura Hartwell of Panama City, Florida; eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter Hampton and Laura Deford Kimbrell; brother, Tommy Thornton.
