Clifford Britt

Clifford Earl Britt, age 73, of Poplarville passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Visitation will be on Friday, February 18th at White Sand Pentecostal Church starting at 6:00 p.m. until the Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19th with Rev. Charles Rester officiating. Burial will follow at Mitchell Chapel Cemetery. Clifford moved to Poplarville from Arkansas thirty years ago. He worked for Pearl River County in Road Maintenance and was a member of White Sand Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Britt of Poplarville ;three sons, Edward Britt of Gulfport; Danny Wayne Britt of Kiln ;Jimmy Britt of Buras, LA; two daughters, Tammy Kay Baker of Lucedale and Rebecca Wallace of Poplarville; one sister, Patsy Russell of Arkansas; twenty grandchildren ;twenty-three great-grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Britt ;two brothers, J. C. Britt and Billy Britt ; two sisters, Dartha Thompson and Lillian Reeves ;one daughter, Pamela Rene Britt.
