Obituary<br> Dave Davis, Jr.<br><br><br>Dave Davis, Jr. of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the age of 91.<br><br>Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Oren Spence officiating. Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery.<br><br>Dave was a lifelong resident of Picayune and member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ House of Prayer. <br><br>He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Mayo of Florida, Patricia Frierson of Carriere, Mississippi, Brenda Gandy of Florida and Linda Crowe of Pearl River, Louisiana; his sister, Estell Watkins of Louisiana; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren.<br><br>He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean Mitchell Davis; his parents, Dave Davis, Sr. and Ruth E. Wood Davis; brother, George Davis; sisters, Marthy Dawsey and Anne Marie Dawsey.<br><br>Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
