Decator B. Temple, age 84, of Picayune passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Biloxi VA Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. Visitation will be on Friday, June 25th from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Coaltown Cemetery, Purvis, Mississippi. Mr. Temple was born in McCall Creek, Franklin County, MS and moved here from Hattiesburg, MS. He was a watchmaker at Parrish Jewelers and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, John D. (Sherry) Temple of Picayune, MS;two daughters, Linda T. (Mickey) Mize of Hamilton, MS and Judy D. Temple of Ellisville, MS ;two grandchildren, Allison L. Mize of Hamilton, MS and Dana T. Shoemake of Picayune, MS. He is preceded in death by his wife, Madie Temple. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
