A long time resident of New Orleans and Metairie, she retired after 32 years from AT&T Phone Company. Born in Splendora, Texas. Dotty passed away September 18, 2011. Dotty is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Fink and her husband Timothy Fink and Kathryn Laqueita Thorpe and son Lonnie Joseph LeBlanc and his wife Cheri M LeBlanc; grandsons, William R. Sage, K. Todd Massa; granddaughters, Tami M Dana, Melissa S McNutt and Casey Jo LeBlanc and great grandchildren, twins Piper and Porter McNutt. Dotty was the daughter and one of eight children of Rebecca Hayden Wells and Ross Wells. Her sister Eddie Ruth (Wells) Prestridge and two brothers Darwin Allen Wells and Richard Keith Wells predeceased her. She is survived by her brother Raymond Ross Wells and her sisters, Anna J. (Wells) Norris, L. Joyce (Wells) Stubblefield and her husband George L. Stubblefield and Frances M. (Wells) Boyett, and numerous nieces and nephews.
