Freda Don Cole, age 89,passed away May 23, 2009at her residence in Carriere. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2009from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Carriere.Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Carriere following the visitation.Burial will follow in Carriere Cemetery She was born in Nemaha, Iowa and moved to Carriere, Mississippi in 1971.She was a homemaker, former school teacher,and a member of the First Baptist Church of Carriere. She was preceded in death by:her husband, Grove E. Cole;one brother Quiten Freeman;two sisters, Orpha Derry and Shirley Self. She is survived by:four daughters: Ronda Barker of Des Moines, Iowa ,Candy Lee of Carriere, Mississippi ,Joleen Cole of Hannville, Louisiana and Robin Craft of Carriere, Mississippi;one son, Robert Cole of Nevada, Iowa;four brothers, Kermit Freeman of Portland, Oregon,Daryl Freeman of Carbon, Indiana,Arnim Freeman of Salem, Oregon and Leroy Freeman of Bridgeport, Illinois;twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
