Gary Henry Jude Jennings, Sr. departed this world unexpectedly on August 16, 2016 at the young age of 62. By departing this earthly life and entering the everlasting life he will be reunited with his beloved parents the late Mr. Edward Earl Jennings, Sr., and the late Inez Fryoux Jennings. He was a New Orleans native born on August 7, 1954. He was a long time resident of St. Bernard Parish where he raised his children before becoming a permanent resident of Carriere, MS since 2005.

He was a loving husband to Wanda Melan Jennings. Loving father to daughter Tammy Jennings, 36 years old; son, Gary Henry Jude Jennings, 31 years old; father-in-law to Jill Danielle Jenkins Jennings, 32 years old. His greatest blessing was his beloved granddaughter, Haley Alexis Jennings, 2 years 8 months old. She will now have a wonderful guardian angel watching over her.

He was a former member of the IATSE Local #39 stage hand union. He was also employed in the early 80’s and 90’s by Copper T. Smith Mooring.

He will be remembered during a Mass on September 10, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1000 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, MS 39466.

A celebratory memorial gathering will be held immediately following the Mass at 5:30 p.m. at 706 Anchor Lake Rd., Carriere, MS 39426.
