Helen Frances Cosby, age 76, of Carriere passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 at her residence. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home, followed by the Funeral Service at 12 noon, with Kitty Hale officiating.Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery. Helen was born in Whistler, Alabama and moved to Carriere eight years ago. She had worked as a drywall finisher and was a Baptist. She is survived by one son, Charles Ricky Cole of Meridian; two daughters, Deborah Douglas of Carriere and Judy Cole of Meridian; two brothers, Arthur Gene Stewart of Meridian and Bobby Stewart of Atlanta, Georgia ;sixteen grandchildren ,numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Floyd Cosby; two brothers, Thomas Stewart and James Stewart; one sister, Catherine Melton.
