Helen Sausse Page peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at the age of 81 following a long struggle with Alzheimer's. <br><br>She is predeceased in death by her parents, Henry Page and Nora Picou Page. Loving mother of Brenda Sausse Levron (Timothy) (D) and Charlene Sausse Penn (Steven). Cherished grandmother of Steven M. Penn II and great-grandmother of Jared Barron. Sister of Letha Husser (D) (Albert) (D), Herbert Page (D) (Hilda), Henry Page (D) (Norma) (D), Dorothy Husser (Bud) (D), William Page (D) (Lorraine) (D), and Robert Page (D). Sister-in-law of Emile Held Jr. (D) (Barbara), and Eugene Sausse (Judy). Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. <br><br>A native of Maurepas, Louisiana and resident of Metairie, Louisiana for many years. Helen spent the last years of her life in Picayune, Mississippi at the Covenant House. Helen was a long time employee of Freeman as well as a faithful member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at Word of Faith Church in New Orleans for many years. <br><br>Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a service on Friday, December 8, 2016, at White Dove Fellowship, 3600 Manhattan Blvd. Harvey, LA 70058. Burial will take place at Westlawn Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Ave. Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Helen's memory to either of these two charities: Children's Hospital of New Orleans, 200 Henry Clay Ave, New Orleans, LA 70118, or call 504-896-9375 Or The Alzheimer's Association Louisiana Chapter Office, 3445 N.
