James Gregory “Greg” Burge, age 51, of Picayune passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at his residence. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 12th from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., with Rev. Bud Putman officiating. Burial will be at West Union Cemetery. Greg, a lifetime resident of Picayune, was a U.S. Army veteran and a Baptist. He was employed as a Service Tech for U.S. Navy Nexton. He is survived by his mother, Nell Adcox of Picayune ;step-father, Bobby Adcox of Picayune; wife, Trudy Burge of Picayune ;two sons, Charles Nathaniel Burge of Slidell, LA ;Bobby James Burge of Nicholson ;one brother, Jeffery Burge of Picayune; three sisters, Vickie (James) Moore of Picayune,Karla (John) Graham of Picayune and Donna (Michael) Barnes of Picayune ;three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, James Burge a granddaughter, Emma Burge.
