Jason Lee Cole, age 43, died at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his residence.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 155 Monk Mitchell Road, Picayune, Mississippi from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:15 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Cristin Cole; three sons, Brighton Lee Cole, Benton Lee Cole, and Boston Lee Cole; his father, Carl Lee Cole and his mother, Diana Cole.

Jason was diagnosed with cancer May 2015, and waged a battle against it, that few would have the courage or strength to do. Jason was one of a kind. He was kind to everyone, madly determined, loyal to all, and an amazing father to his three boys ages 4, 5,and 6 years old. He was a wonderful husband to his wife of 18 years, Cristin.

He had a gift of seeing the good in people, and helping them not only find, but live up to their true potential. Jason loved to golf, fish, and garden. He was a master gardener with Purdue University. He had what could only be described as a love affair with books, and this is easy to see when you walk into his library with the thousands of books he has collected over the years.

Jason loved real estate, and was a successful investor. The world has lost a good man. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Life is a but a stopping place,

We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay…

For some the journey’s is quicker,
For some the journey’s is slow.
