Judy Thibodeaux Merritt joined her soulmate, her beloved Ronnie Merritt in Heaven on November 6th, 2016. She was 67 years old. <br><br>Her Children Malissa Inge and Ronnie Merritt Jr, along with their spouses Eric and Kate will celebrate her life always. Her grandchildren Mallory Rose, Elena Marie, Brenna Grace, Aidan Ronald, Landon William, and Peyton Joseph will remember their Ju-Ju as a ray of sunshine. She was expecting her first great-grandchild, Kieran Oliver in April of 2017.<br><br>She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence Thibodeaux and Jeanne Thibodeaux Allemand. Her brothers Milton and Wayne, as well as her sisters Yvonne and Patsy. She is survived by her sisters Marceline, Jean and Pam. She was a treasured “Old Aunt” to a multitude of nieces and nephews. <br><br>Judy was a graduate of Rabouin High School and attended Behrman High School in New Orleans. Judy and Ronnie were married on August 5, 1967 and enjoyed 42 years of marriage, until his death in 2009. She was a hair dresser until the 80’s when she started to travel the world with her husband. When they retired to Carriere, MS she joined the Red Hat Society and enjoyed going to Curves for friendship and fitness.<br><br>Please join us in a celebration of her life at Holy Name of Mary Church 500 Eliza St, New Orleans, La 70131.
