Kathryn Ray Hartley, age 84, of Slidell passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Greenbrier Nursing Home in Slidell. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17th from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home and at Hope Chapel on Huntington Drive on Friday, March 18th starting at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will be at Hope Chapel at 11:00 a.m., with Bro. Albert Pendarvis officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. Mrs. Hartley was born in Clifton, Tennessee and moved to Slidell from Metairie, LA twenty years ago. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She is survived by one daughter, Betty Miller of Slidell, LA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sons, Fredrick Earl Hartley, Jr. and Joseph Ray Hartley.
