Kevin James Trahan, Sr., age 54, of Gonzales, Louisiana passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 14th at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Algiers, 9559 Florida Blvd., Walker, Louisiana with Pastor Albert Pendarvis officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery in Gonzales, Louisiana. Kevin was a born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana and had been a resident of Gonzales, Louisiana for forty years. He was a truck driver and a member of First Baptist Church of Algiers in Walker, Louisiana. He is survived by his parents, Frank P. Trahan, Sr. and Marcellin Trahan of Gonzales, LA;wife, Eileen Trahan of Picayune; three sons, Kevin J. Trahan, Jr. of Gonzales, LA ,Jason P. Trahan of Gonzales, LA and Ryan Trahan of Picayune;one brother, Frank P. Trahan, Jr. of Gonzales, LA ;six sisters, Tonya Savoy of Gonzales, LA,Marsha Trahan Jarrell of Picayune , Danette Trahan of Gonzales, LA,Renda Trahan Daughdrill of Picayune ,Yonn Trahan Dean of Picayune and Jana Hemery of Gonzales, LA; three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Trahan.
