Larkie Bass

Larkie McKinley Bass, age 78, of Picayune passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Highland Community Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 1st at 3:00 p.m. at New Palestine Cemetery, with Bro. Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. Mr. Bass, a former resident of Eunice, LA, was a truck driver, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Bass of Picayune; two sons, Larry Bass of Picayune and Buddy Harrington of New Orleans, LA; four daughters, Linda Charlie of Sulphur, LA, Brenda Harrington of Beaumont, TX, Pamela Harrington of Sulphur, LA and Tasha Ellis of Picayune; eighteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one son, Donald Ray Harrington and two daughters, Patricia Harrington and Rhonda Fay Harrington.
