Lester Keith Dufrene, age 50, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery. Lester was a resident of Pearl River County for fifteen years and a business owner. He is survived by his wife Stacy Dufrene of Carriere; mother, Annette Palmer of Slidell, Louisiana; daughters, Denis Comeaux of Arkansas, Laura Reis of Bay St. Louis, Natasha Abbott of New Orleans, Louisiana, Desirae Abbott of Carriere and Colleen Dufrene of Picayune; sisters, Pam First of Slidell, Louisiana and Melinda Dufrene of Marrero, Louisiana; and four granddaughters, Tatum, Malaysia, Destiny and Selena. He is preceded in death by his father, Hurdey Dufrene.
