Mary Lily Hamann, age 76, of Picayune passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Highland Community Hospital, Picayune, MS. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 5th at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with Father Mike Snyder officiating at the service. Visitation will be Friday, January 4th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Picayune Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. Mrs. Hamann, a native of Louisiana, moved to Picayune from St. Bernard two years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Valerie Hamann, Sr.; four sons, Valerie Hamann, II of St. Bernard, Parker Hamann of St. Bernard, Duaine Hamann of St. Bernard and Rodney Kerschner of Thailand; two daughters, Mary Lee Keim of Picayune and Tammy Martin of Shelby, NC; one brother, Dudley Buras of Kenner, LA; her twin sister, Mary Eula Petrie of Virginia Beach, VA; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
