Matthew Joseph Kubicki

Matthew J. Kubicki, 53, of Carriere, MS, passed away November 30, 2016. <br>Visitation will be held at Picayune Funeral Home on Dec. 10 from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. with memorial services following. Rev. Satish Adhav will be officiating.<br><br>He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Margaret, and his sister Sharon. <br>He is survived by Patricia, his best friend and wife of 25 years, his children Nicolas (Victoria), and Steven, his siblings Mari (Sam) Usher, Ed (Jeanne) Kubicki, Paul (Irene) Kubicki and Henry (David) Kubicki, along with numerous nieces and nephews.<br><br>Matthew served as Cubmaster for Pack 81 for many years, and as a passionate Blue Devils fan, he became a crowd favorite at PRC football games. He was a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, and worked at Herring Ford for over 20 years.<br>As an avid outdoorsman, Matthew enjoyed camping, aviation and hiking. He was well-known for his unique sense of humor and outgoing personality, and was always ready to lend a hand to those who needed it. <br><br>As a father and a husband, Matthew was devoted to his family. He had a tremendous impact on the people in his life, and as an active member of the community, will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in his name.<br>
