Michael Shean

Michael Charles Shean, age 66, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Friday, April 29, 2011 at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune. A private Catholic service will be held for the family at a later date. Michael was born in San Francisco, California and his family moved to New Orleans, Louisiana at age 9. He was a graduate of the University of New Orleans and a retired Geophysicist. After retiring and moving to Picayune in 1991, he was the owner of CRI Computers until 2006. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Suzanne Tosso Shean of Carriere; a daughter, Michelle Shean Baughman and her husband Troy, of Broussard, Louisiana; a brother, Scott Shean and his wife Valerie, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and three grandchildren, Brennen, Morgan, and Gage. He is also survived by four sister-in-laws, two brother-in-laws, thirteen nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; Norman Edward Shean and Bernadette Kessing Shean, and one sister-in-law, Carolyn Tosso Gallagher.
