Richard Leowen Treat, age 68, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018.

Mr. Treat was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a maintenance worker for Lockheed Martin, and attended Resurrection Life Church
He is survived by his mother, Mary Treat of Picayune; wife, Dawn Garfield Treat of Picayune; son, Jason Allen Treat of Picayune; daughter, Monica Treat Gardner of Bossier City, Louisiana; step-son, Michael Lawrence Nix of Picayune; step-daughter, Tara Loy Nix of Picayune; brother, John Michael Treat of Hattiesburg; sister Katie Duke of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jayla Treat, Mason Treat, Ashley Gardner, Wesley Gardner, Myracle Nix, and Spencer Nix.
He is preceded in death by his father, Elmo Treat.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that you donate to Service Dogs for Veterans of your choice.
