Robert Louis Vettermann, age 82 of Carriere passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at Northshore Specialty Hospital in Covington, LA. Memorial services were held Monday, July 26th at 2:00 p.m. at 239 Spring Rose Drive in Belle Chasse, LA, with Father Terry officiating. Robert was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He moved to Carriere sixteen years ago and worked in Sales at Lennox Air Conditioning. He is survived by his wife, Mary Vettermann of Carriere; one son, Robert David Vettermann of San Francisco, CA; one sister, Dorothy Mahoney of New Haven, CT ;one grandchild, Kenji Hakune. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Ann Vettermann.
