Ruby Stevens Williamson, age 78, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Picayune Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ted Strain officiating. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. Mrs. Williamson was a resident of Pearl River County for 35 years, and a homemaker. She is survived by three sons, Johnny Murphy of Slidell, Louisiana, Roy (Alice) Murphy of Carriere, and Jimmy Murphy of Carriere; one daughter, Nancy Kiddy of Picayune; two brothers, David (Johnnye Sue) Stevens of Carriere, and Daniel (Carol) Stevens of North Carolina; two sisters, Dixie (Stanley) Burtler of Sarasota, Florida, and Pearl Evans of Picayune; twelve grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Stevens and Gracie Edith Stevens; husband Alfred Williamson; three sons, Randy Murphy, Donald Murphy, and Timothy Murphy.
