Russell Ray Rogerson, age 74 of Carriere passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. A “Tribute to Russell” will be held Friday, December 19th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Millbrook Country Club. Russell, a native of West Virginia, was a greens keeper at Millbrook Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Rogerson of Carriere; son, Thomas and Vicki Rogerson of Carriere; daughters, Dixie Crayton of Arabi, LA and Charlotte Hellmers of Carriere; step-daughter, Erin Brown of Carriere; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Rusty Rogerson.
