Samuel Spiers Obituary

Samuel Aaron Spiers, age 72, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Friday, January 24, 2014. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shane Giadrosich officiating and assisted by Bro. Robby Holston. Burial will be at Burgetown Cemetery. Mr. Spiers was a lifetime resident of Pearl River County, a brick mason and member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his friends. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother, Ocie Mae Spiers; sons, Chad (Carrie) Spiers of Carriere and Todd (Susan) Spiers of Carriere; daughter, Angela Spiers of Carriere; brother, Tommy “Snuffy” Spiers of Carriere; sisters, Sandra Giadrosich of Carriere, Judy Smith of McNeill and Penny King of Waveland; and five grandchildren, Caleb, Cody, Catie, Clay “Bull” and Carly. He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel C. Spiers; and his previous wife and mother to his children, Cheryl Spiers.
