Vera Brewer

Vera N. Brewer, age 93, of Picayune passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Father Michael Snyder officiating. Vera was a New Orleans school teacher and owned Lacombe Street Nursery and Kindergarten in New Orleans and Ozona Daycare in Ozona. She is survived by one son Thomas Brewer of Picayune, one daughter Nancy Franklin of Picayune, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Leo T. Brewer, her parents Osceola and Marie Nevel, and one son Kenneth Brewer.
