Virginia Sue Becnel, age 83, of Picayune passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Slidell Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Rolling Hills Baptist Church with Bro. Barry Lee officiating. Virginia, a former resident of St. Bernard Parish, was a homemaker and an Episcopalian. She is survived by five daughters, Jennifer Paulson of Lafayette, Louisiana ,Christine LeBlanc of Carriere, Beverly Menier of Gonzales, Louisiana, Paula Olivier of Picayune and Deborah Brugoto of Carriere;one half-brother, James Staley of Missouri; one half-sister, Shelia Delk of Georgia;twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mable Brinegar; one son, Frederick L. Wilcox;one grandson, Christopher Cross.
