William Montgomery

William D. Montgomery, age 90, of Picayune passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at his home. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Father Mike Snyder officiating. Mr. Montgomery, born in San Antonio, Texas in 1920, had been a resident of Picayune, MS since 1965. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army in both World War II and in Korea. Following his discharge, he was employed with NASA as a mechanical engineer for twenty five years. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Tessie Montgomery of Picayune, MS, two daughters Barbara Scarborough of Picayune, MS , and Tina Stewart of Gulfport, MS, six grandchildren Shana Breerwood, Coby Scarborough, Ian Stewart, Hannah Stewart, Lane Stewart, and Griffin Stewart, and two great grandchildren Lexey Breerwood, and Blaise Breerwood. He is preceded in death by his parents William Duncan and Minnie Velma Montgomery.
