Robert Cooper Obituary

Robert “Bobby” Bryant Cooper, 78, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven, MS. He was born on August 15, 1938 in Curtis, MS, to The Late Minnie Lelia Sorrells Cooper and James William Cooper. He was a Methodist and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a retired chemical operator, devoted to his family and loved his dog, Venus. Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juanita Cooper of Olive Branch, MS; two sons, Brian Keith Cooper (Lee Ann) of Hernando, MS and Tim Cooper of Olive Branch, MS; one sister, Elsie Burgin of Costa Mesa, CA; two grandchildren, Rachel Cooper and Carrie Abdel’Jaber (You’sef). He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James William Cooper, Jr. and Travis Watson Cooper. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home – Senatobia Chapel has charge of arrangements.
