Lori Ann Borgman-Griffis, 54, Colorado Springs, CO, formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away Nov. 3, 2019. A memorial visitation will be held 1-2:30pm, Sat., Nov. 16 at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016.Private burial will take place later. Lori was born Jan. 28, 1965 in Topeka, KS and attended Kearney High School in the Class of 1983. She spent ten years as an underwriter for TransAmerica Insurance Co. She enjoyed dancing and was on the Golden Girl Pom-Pom squad at Kearney High School. She was a big sports fan and loved the Chiefs and the Royals. She enjoyed playing cards with friends. Most of all she loved her family. Lori was preceded in death by her father Milferd Borgman. She is survived by daughters Sarah Thomassie and husband Josh, Kansas City, MO; Heather Falcon and husband Kyle, Gladstone, MO; son Jeffery Griffis; her mother Billie Richardson and husband Max; sisters Amy Cummins and husband Brant; Kate Borgman, all of Kansas City, MO; brothers Doug Borgman, Liberty, MO; Stephen Richardson and wife Brie, Kearney, MO; ex-husband Jeff Griffis, Kansas City, MO; and grandchildren Isa, Julian and Chance.
