Fred J. Souders 1927-2011 Cameron, Missouri- Fred Junior Souders, 84, Cameron passed away on November 3, 2011. Fred was born June 14, 1927 in Cameron, Missouri to William and Minnie (Grosse) Souders. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maxine Souders; 2 sons, Douglas and Richard Souders; grandson, Brandon Souders; 2 brothers, Jim and Chester Souders and a sister, Dorothy Bernard. Fred was a member of the American Legion Post #557 and Former Scout Master of Troop 132, all of Polo, MO. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Survivors: 2 sons, Dan and wife, Lee Souders, Killeen, TX, David and wife, Janet Burkhart, Excelsior Springs, MO; daughter, Donna and husband, Earl Searcy, St. Joseph, MO; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and his faithful dog, Princess. Services: 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Cremation to follow service.
