John Fleming 1934-2017 Cameron, Missouri- John “Bud” Fleming, 82, Cameron, passed away on April 24, 2017. John was born on August 18, 1934 in Cameron, Missouri to Richard and Viola (Sackman) Fleming. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Phyllis Wyckoff and Eileen Demlow. John was the owner/operator of Bud’s Tavern and was a builder in home construction for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. On September 2, 1956, John married Bonnie Bernard in Lathrop, Missouri. Survivors: wife of 60 years, Bonnie, of the home; 2 sons, Ron (Debbie) Fleming, Kingston, MO and Jim Fleming, Dallas, TX; daughter, Rhonda (Douglas) Howe, Wheeling, MO; 4 grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa) Fleming, Dana Fleming, Lacey (Lee) Spicer and Willie Howe; 5 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ethan, Gracee, Kymber and Braelyn. Graveside Service: 2:30 PM, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Graceland Cemetery, Cameron. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron.
