R. Lynette Wilcox 1936-2017 Cameron, Missouri- Rhodora “Lynette” Wilcox, 80, Cameron passed away on June 28, 2017. Lynette was born on September 21, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Odin and Rhodora (VanZweden) Young. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Ray Wilcox; 3 grandchildren; brother and a daughter-in-law. Lynette worked as a dietician with the State Hospital for 17 years, before retiring. She was a member of the Cameron Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lynette was the past president of the Dietician Association, Relief Society and Klimers Klub. She was very active in PTA, 4-H and Boy Scouts. Survivors: 4 sons, Billy Ray (Beverly) Wilcox, Cameron, Jimmy Lee Wilcox, Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Michael (Kari) Wilcox, Cameron, Daniel (Sarah) Wilcox, Trenton, MO; daughter, Rebecca (Jess) Amos, Keota, IA; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dennis Young and Roger Young; 2 sisters, Sylvia Hanson and Carol Hale; many nieces and nephews. Services: 11:00AM, Monday, July 3, 2017 at the Cameron Ward Church of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Visitation: 9:30-11:00AM, Monday, prior to the service. Burial: 2:30 PM, following the service at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. Memorial donations to Camp Geiger and/or Three Rivers Hospice.
