Jason Lee Seavey August 18, 1975 - March 17, 2017 Jason Lee Seavey, 41 years old, of Ottumwa, Iowa, was taken from us and went home to the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2017. Jason was born August 18, 1975, in Unionville, Missouri, to Donald Eugene Hostetter and Kathy Ann (Seavey) Collins of Unionville, MO. Jason married Dana (Stump) Summers, later divorced. Jason is survived by his wife, Jennifer Seavey, two sons; Christopher Eugene and Trey Lee Seavey, and his daughter: Reanna Gene Seavey all of Moravia, Iowa. Granddaughters: Zoey and Emerson Seavey, and grandson: Trey Lee Seavey, Jr. and expected grandson, Zaiden Alexander Rex Deiters, all of Monrovia, Iowa. Jason also leaves behind his mother, Kathy Ann (Seavey) Collins and husband Harold Collins of Unionville, MO, as well as three sisters: Amy Marie (Pigg) Christian, and husband Paul, of Unionville, MO., Lori Beth Pigg of Crane, MO., and Jennifer Nicole Pigg, of Unionville, MO. Three uncles: Max D. Seavey, wife Wanda of Milan, MO., Terry E. Seavey, wife Amy of Liberty Hill, TX., and Phillip A. Seavey of Kirksville, MO., also an aunt: Linda S. (Seavey) Flynn, husband Ed of Kirksville, MO., with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jason was preceded in death by his father Donald Eugene Hostetter, his brother Roy Evan Pigg, grandson Zachary Aiden Seavey, maternal grandparents: Edgar E. Seavey and Olive K. (Morlan) (Seavey) Saner, an uncle, Mark G. Seavey, two aunts: Marcella Lynn (Seavey) Lonis and Nita Caroll (McDannald) Seavey. Jason had resided in Ottumwa, Iowa for a short period, he attended Putnam County High School and later obtained his G.E.D. He owned his own tire shop for a short time, he was employed by Cloverleaf in Chillicothe, MO., worked in Albia, Iowa crafting cement lawn ornaments, Premium Standard Farms, and various other employment. Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing baseball, listening to music, and being around his family and friends. A Memorials Service is planned for 2:00pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Broadlawn Baptist Church 419 S 19th St, Unionville, MO 63565.
