Jason Haley

Jason Daniel Haley, age 44, of Kirksville, MO passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 7, 2020. He was born September 17, 1976 to Daniel LeRoy Haley and Aline Barnard Marshall. On January 9, 2020 he was united in marriage to Tiffany Ellis by pastor Jeff Arp and became a member of the First Assembly Of God Church in Kirksville, MO. Jason is survived by his wife, Tiffany; four children, Ashley, Julia, and Jordan Haley and Navarone Ellis all of Kirksville, MO; one grandson, Hunter; his mother, Aline Barnard Marshall of Heartland, MO; four siblings, Lisa Bussman Pyper of Chillicothe, MO, Stephanie (Gary) Rye of Brookfield, MO, Errick (Leslie) Bussman of Marceline, MO and Justin Haley of Farmington, his mother and father-in law Donald & Blytha Ellis of Kirksville and Donald Wolf of Canton, MO; sister and brother in-laws, Matthew (Tiffany) Ellis of Kirksville, Michael (Rachel) Ellis of Rivesville, VA, Britney (Rahul) Suresh of Liberty, MO and Addie Ellis of Kirksville, MO; Jody Kirchner of Canton, MO and Jesse Wolf of Canton, MO; special friends, Tricia Emmerich and Damitrik Jackson and dozens of nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel LeRoy Haley; daughter, Megen Haley; paternal grandparents, Roy "Junior" (Leota) Haley; and stepfather, Wayne Marshall, of Bethel, MO. Jason was a big guy with an even bigger personality, known for his gentle spirit, infectious laugh, and smile (he smiled with this eyes) and a heart of compassion. He loved his wife, Tiffany, with all his heart and THEY shared a love that most people only dream of finding. Jason loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Being in nature was one of his passions and looked forward to many seasons of bow hunting with his stepson, Navarone. Jason was very artistic and loved to draw and paint and share his paintings with his loved ones. If Jason could tell you how he would most like his life to be honored, it would be the following: Accept Christ as your Savior and to live for Him. It is the most important decision you will ever make in your life. Forgive those who wrong you and hurt you as God has extended his forgiveness to each of us. Find joy and laugh often. Smile as much as you can and breaking out in song is good, too! Love big. Do not forget to tell people you love them. Jason never let Tiffany go a day without telling her "I love you" numerous times. Love heals. Love restores. Love rescues. Love sustains. Lastly, Jason's family asks that you rebuild a relationship or do a random act of kindness for someone in honor of Jason Daniel Haley and his life here on earth. A visitation in honor of Jason life will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Kirksville, Missouri Thursday November 12, 2020 from 5:30 to 7:30pm. A short service will follow at 7:30pm with pastor Jeff Arp officiating. Condolences, memories, and photos maybe shared, and flowers ordered at www.asimplifiedfuneralsolution.com
