J.P. (Poke) Morrison, age 48, passed away at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri on February 27, 2021. J.P. was the son of Junior Pearl and Wilma Morrison. J.P. was united in marriage to Nancy (Wever) Morrison at the Hurdland Baptist Church on July 18, 1992. He also was a graduate from Knox County High School, class of 1991. J.P. is survived by his wife, Nancy Morrison; two daughters, Brandy Morrison and her significant other, David Justice of Edina, Mo and Ashely Bullock along with her significant other, Nick Crawford of Macon, Mo; eight grandchildren, Maggie May, Levi Ralph, James, Leslie, Mia, Lorraina, Addison, and Caydence; several neices and nephews; his brothers and sisters; and great neices and nephews. J.P. is proceeded in death by his father, Junior; paternal grandparents; and father in-law, Ralph Wever; and two of his brothers. J.P.'s passions included truck driving for eighteen years, falling asleep while deer hunting with his daughters, loved spending time with his grandchildren weither it was fishing, hunting, or taking them to the farms to take care of cattle or ride the tractors with grandpa. Final shots with Poke will be 10 minutes prior to the end of the service. A service is scheduled for Sunday March 7, 2021 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at A Simplified Funeral Solution in Green Castle, MO.
