Robert Raynes

Robert Vernon Raynes, 87, died on May 17, 2019. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 1-2pm. Funeral service will begin at 2pm, both at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Robert was born on July 12, 1931 in Kingsville, MO to Edward Raynes and Rosetta Billingsley Raynes. He was an airplane mechanic and retired from TWA in 1995. Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Garrett Raynes; parents, brothers, and sisters. He leaves behind daughter, Diana Raynes Hazelrigg and husband Ray Hazelrigg; daughter, Lorie Raynes Ingle and husband Mark Ingle; grandchildren, Kyle Ingle, Marissa Carroll, Michael Hazelrigg, and Matthew Hazelrigg; great grandchildren, Elizabeth and David Ingle, Xavier and Jade Carroll, and Charlotte Hazelrigg; one sister, Rosella Roberts; and many nieces and nephews.
