Eddie Lologo, 66, of Independence, MO passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm on Sunday, October 15 at Rockwood Baptist Church 10035 E. Westport Rd, Independence, MO, 64055. Eddie was born on May 12, 1952 in Amouli Village, Samoa to Telefoni and Tapafua (Tiatia) Lologo. After graduating high school, he joined the military. He loved to cook, do all kinds of sports, yardwork and go for walks. Eddie loved people, never met a stranger, and truly dedicated his life to Jesus. He will always be remembered by his wife Ane Lologo of the home; daughter Celia Lologo of Oceanside, CA; daughter Elizabeth Lologo and husband Charles of Oceanside, CA; son Joshua Lologo and wife Fuatino of Long Beach, CA; daughter Letti-Anne Lologo of Long Beach, CA; son Nathan Lologo and wife Dianne of Independence, MO; son Obed-Boaz Lologo and wife Tiffany of Independence, MO; 15 grandchildren; brothers Salatielu Lologo, Laun J. Lologo, Lipano Lologo and wife Lautofa; sisters Elizabeth Vaovasa, Tinei Leasau and husband Samuelu. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers: Tasele, Pisa, Faletolu, and Maalona Lologo; oldest son Ietitaia “Eddie” Lologo; and grandson Ioane Lologo.
