Mary Ann Bisacca, 85, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Easter Sunday April 16, 2017. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 am, Thursday, April 20 at St. Matthew the Apostle, 8001 Longview Road, Kansas City, MO 64134; interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-7:30 pm, Wednesday followed by the Rosary at 7:30 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. Mary Ann was born April 14, 1932 in Kansas City, MO, and a life-long area resident. She graduated from East High School, Class of 1943. She was a founding member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church and served as school and parish secretary while working for the Kansas City-St. Joseph Diocese for twenty-five years. She retried in 1991. Most important to her was her family and grandchildren. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Joseph George Bisacca in 1971; her parents Edward and Christina (Crane) McGuire and sister Irene McGuire. She is survived by son Joe Bisacca and wife Rita, Plano, TX; daughter Valerie Meuschke and husband Joe, Lee’s Summit, MO; sisters Helen Jean Stevenson; Claudia Kern, both of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren Brett Meuschke and wife Kasey; Natalie Lemos and husband Jacob; Joseph Bisacca; James Bisacca; Alex Bisacca and was “GiGi” to her great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Bailee, Noah and Nash.
