Paul Kelly Casady Independence, Missouri Obituary

Paul Kelly Casady

Paul Kelly Casady, a boisterous die-hard sports fanatic, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. He was born on March 4, 1969 to his loving parents Pat and Donna Casady in Kansas City, Missouri. Paul was a very genuine, authentic person. His laugh was contagious, and he was well known for his big smile and giant personality. He valued his position at Cable Dahmer Chevrolet as a Performance Parts Specialist for the past 10 years and was proud to be a part of Teamsters Local 41 for many years. When Paul wasn’t working he could be found at the race track. Drag racing was a way of life. He would eagerly watch and learn everything there was to know about the race kingdom alongside his father Pat his entire childhood. When he was 17yrs old it was his time to shine. Paul’s world revolved around drag racing and the thrill of the track. When he wasn’t racing he was talking about racing, working on cars or talking about his current project with his second family, his car community. One of Paul’s favorite past times was watching his son Alec play football. He was his biggest fan. He also shared the love for his Chiefs. He’d say “I’ve waited my whole life for a quarterback like this. Patrick Mahomes is my quarterback!” with a big smile on his face and he meant it. Paul will forever be loved and missed by his entire KC car community and family. He is survived by his parents; the love of his life and best friend Tammy Grady-Mallon; his son Alec Casady; his bonus children Marissa and Dalton Mallon; his sister Kendra Hardway and husband Charles; his aunt Mary Jeanne Williams and husband Fred; his furry companion Riley; beloved friends Adam Parker and wife Mendy, Roy Helm and wife Jennifer, Tim Perdieu and wife Mindi, Stephen Miller; Kevin Berry, Josh Gibbs, Marty Dahmer, Carlos Ledezma and the entire Cable Dahmer family; and too many others to name. A Memorial Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055. Due to COVID restrictions we can only allow 50 people into our chapel at a time. Masks will be required. Thank you for your understanding.
