Wanda Lee Putnam, age 83 of Webb City, Mo. passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Mo. following an illness. Wanda was born on August 8, 1934 in Batesville, Ar., the daughter of W.C. and Elsie (Cowden) Loggains. She has been an area resident for many years, Wanda worked in dietary at Spring River Christian Village retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Spring City Church of Christ. She married Archie Putnam on March 6, 1958 in Miami, Ok., he preceded her in death in 1989. Survivors include two sisters; Joyce Vann of Carl Junction, Mo., Glenda Felts and husband Tom of Riverton, Ks., three brothers; Sonny Loggains and wife Ann of Webb City, Billy Hardcastle and wife Arlene of Webb City, Ed Hardcastle of Joplin, and several nieces and nephews. Services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
